I like my crap er PC. Actually I have respect for the Mac, but I work in PC’s so I keep current with what I work with. Its all about keeping up with the latest stuff so I don’t fall behind. Interesting post Josh.

I would love to play with the new Mac Pro’s, but I am not gonna brake the bank just out of curiosity. Yes I am a Youth Pastor with a separate full time job and I am still poor. LOL! If I can get a free one, I would be more than happy to play with it.

Myspace has opened a lot of doors in my youth ministry. Actually that is the only reason I signed up for it. I am impressed because my kids still don’t hold back despite them knowing that I am their friend and I frequent their spaces. I have not signed up for facebook yet. Haven’t found a need, but I like what I have heard about it. I block most of the fleshy ads in myspace using adblocker plugin for Firefox. This still does not prevent receiving friend invites from people that will soon be blocked by myspace.

This has given me an idea. I don’t realize how bad myspace is getting because of my ad blocker. So in essence by using the service it encourages my students to continue use and being bombarded by the ads. So my idea is to have an event for my students dedicated to Internet technology and teaching them how to use these services safely. I think Josh did a talk on this a while back if I remember. Also, I think I should investigate facebook and see the advantages to switching and encouraging others to do so. Hmm, this would probably be opening a door for more of those…..’oh, you’re a computer guy? I have a problem with…..”

Ok, so I try to follow the live in the world, but not of the world concept. I will leave it at that before I jump into Youth culture topic. Ok back to fixing email for people.

I will be revealing my new domain very soon.

I really like the inter-action between you guys! As a older (I hate that word) person, I enjoy the information you present in a casual setting. It’s like easy listening music that you end up humming a tune all day and finally say, “Where did I get that tune in my head from” ? Now I know all kinds of new words like “facebook” and actual have an understanding of it. (kind-of) At least I could carry on a conversation with somebody younger(hate that word too) than me and not sound like a dinasaur. Great stuff guys” Josh and Tony…your easy-listening information center… Later… Sam…Dad….whatever. By the way, it is sunny and 65 in Ohio. what’s up with that?
