    Good Show Guys!!! My Youth Ministry has been Purpose Driven for almost 1 year. In the past we ran into issues with chaperones/volunteers buying into our idea of ministry, but we did not have it spelled out for them. So now we have a mission statement and it is clearly spelled out for those who help with the ministry.
    Tomorrow we embark on our first major event that requires the help of these outside volunteers since we have been PDYM. We have educated them on our purpose and the role that they play in helping to maintain that purpose specifically for the Ichthus event. It is my hope that this will help to minimize issues we have run into in the past.
    I will have to update how things go when I get back.

    Also I would like to add to your list of practices. Find the right volunteers for the right job in your youth ministry. Having help from skilled people can be invaluable and save yourself from doing too much. This can allow you to focus on ministry instead of tasks and details.
