    I just wanted to say thanks. I have really enjoyed the last two podcasts and have sent on information to a couple of former interns who are still new in ministry. Great stuff.

    For a while I was able to think of more things I hated about ministry than I liked. To anyone out there who has ever felt this way, remember what James says.

    “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trial of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1: 2-3.

    I have been through many trials and I expect there to be more, so I want to encourage those who are feeling discouraged and frustrated in ministry. I am grateful for the hard lessons that I have learned during tough times. Currently I am dealing with financial side of budget cuts and we will be changing pastors at the end of this month. The Pastor change is looking to be very encouraging as she seems very enthusiastic about Youth Ministry.
